Gatherings

A house for birthdays, reunions and team weekends

Every room, the games room, the hot tub and the terrace, yours for the whole stay.

What groups come for

Birthdays, reunions and hen weekends

No other guests and no shared spaces: the house takes one group at a time, for the length of the stay.

Covered terrace dining area seen through open bi-fold doors, with an outdoor table and orange parasol in the foreground and an indoor dining room with red upholstered chairs and floral artwork visible through the opening.
Doors folded right back, so the party happens in two rooms at once.

Garden scene with colourful prayer flags strung overhead, a stone wall, hydrangea bushes in bloom, and a timber-framed open-sided shelter with a stone base nestled among dense green trees.
Prayer flags strung over the gazebo, above the hydrangeas.
Living room corner with a cast-iron fireplace in a polished wood surround, topped by an Art Deco fan-shaped mirror, beside a beige leather sofa with patterned cushion and a wooden coffee table with newspaper, dark blue walls and a New Yorker poster.
The blue sitting room, with its fan mirror over the hearth.
Close-up of a dining table set with multiple wine glasses and a textured cream ceramic jug holding a dried-flower and foliage arrangement. Behind, large dark-framed glass doors and a sheer white curtain reveal a blurred green garden, with a coral-pink lampshade visible at the upper left.
Glasses set out and the dried-flower jug in place, before anyone sits down.

For teams

Corporate retreats and team days in the Wye Valley

Searching for a unique destination to host your next special event, workshop, or corporate retreat? Holly Tree offers all the tranquillity, natural beauty, amenities, activities and comfort you are looking for.

Nestled in the Symonds Yat, the House is just an hours scenic drive from the Bristol, Cardiff and Birmingham.

We bring teams to life through adventure in nature and inspiration at home

As remote work becomes more and more popular for companies and startups, team bonding and quality time with your coworkers will be crucial in order to stay connected, maintain team spirit, and build company culture. Not seeing the team very often means we need to make up for time lost and the best way to do so is with a proper company retreat to recharge batteries and get some well-needed team bonding and time together.

Experts even suggest that relaxing and winding down is key to higher productivity for many. For others it's to get out in nature and get the body moving.

Whatever your company needs, we are here to fulfil.

How it works.

Starting with the team needs and individual requests including bedroom arrangements, food specifics and travel logistics. We can then discuss building in any team activities, Individual therapies, technical specification, breakouts, catering needs, everything you need.
