Fairlea Grange
To whoever's organising this one,
Herding one family, or three, toward a single free weekend is the hard part. The house part is easy: ten bedrooms so nobody's on a sofa, a dining room that sits eighteen to twenty at the big table, and a conservatory table for the spill-over.
Guests have used Fairlea for eightieths, sixtieths, golden weddings, three-generation holidays and at least one murder mystery weekend. The guest book keeps the evidence.
And when the cake's done, there's a hot tub, a six person sauna and a snooker table to absorb everybody's second wind.
P.S.Fairlea isn't suitable for stags or raucous parties. Big birthdays, Christmases and reunions are exactly its thing.

Christmas, with everyone actually there
The woodburner going, the long table laid, and bedrooms enough that the whole family stays the night. Fairlea takes Christmas and New Year bookings of four nights or more.
