The house sits in two acres of mature landscaped gardens: lawns, flower borders and big old trees, with mown paths cut through the longer grass.
Follow the path under the wrought-iron arch and the garden keeps going, past a copper beech, barrel planters and a clipped topiary ball catching the evening light.
Beyond the boundary hedge the view opens to green fields and a forested hillside. That's the Wye Valley, and it's yours from every window.

The hot tub

The tub sits at the garden's edge where the trees part, looking across a wide rural valley of fields and wooded hills.
It's professionally prepared and chemically balanced before you arrive, and the rules are simple: shower first, five at a time works best, and wind it up by 10.30pm so the neighbours sleep.

Bring the dogs
Bromsash House is dog friendly, with up to 3 well-behaved dogs welcome and the Forest of Dean just a couple of miles down the road.
Dogs stay downstairs; bring their beds
