The full range of our holiday cottages for hire covers the same area as the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley Tourism Association. With so much to see and do in this area it makes a great spot for holidays, whether you choose to go out and about, or just stay in the cottage and make use of the wonderful facilities whilst basking in stunning scenery.

The Wye Valley is one of the UK's best-kept holiday secrets, quietly tucked along the border of England and Wales, just as breathtaking as the Lake District or Cotswolds but far less crowded.

The house is situated 300m down a private lane giving you peace and tranquillity should you prefer a more relaxing break. There are numerous public footpaths on the doorstep for hiking and the property is just outside what was once the perimeter of the ancestral home of Charles Rolls (founder of Rolls Royce) which now houses The Rolls of Monmouth Golf Club, a short drive away.

Just 2.5 miles outside the picturesque market town of Monmouth, the studio is in the delivery area for several supermarkets and takeaway services.

    Numerous public footpaths start at the house, including a two-mile circular walk down to the river and back. Guests swim and bodyboard in the Monnow on warm days.

  2. Monmouth

    The picturesque market town is 2.5 miles away: coffee shops, pubs and a theatre, and the house sits in the delivery area for several supermarkets and takeaways.

  3. The Rolls of Monmouth

    The property is just outside what was once the perimeter of the ancestral home of Charles Rolls, founder of Rolls Royce, now The Rolls of Monmouth Golf Club, a short drive away.

  4. Symonds Yat

    Canoeing on the Wye and the walk up to Yat Rock for the views, a few miles downstream.
