ROOM TO GATHER
Space to spread out, then come together
Forest House holds a crowd without feeling crowded. Parties of twenty-two have written that they never felt on top of each other, with two lounges, a games room and a dining room that seats everyone at once.
Guests use the rooms exactly as you'd hope: one lounge for the children's film, one for the grown-ups, the pool table running all weekend.
It works across generations too. One party ranged from 19 months to 91 years, and every household had a bathroom of its own and a door to close.
All in all a wonderful weekend had by all in a lovely part of the country. Thank you Forest House for being part of our memories.
FEEDING THE PARTY
A chef's kitchen, and help if you want it
If you like to cook you'll have a good weekend: the kitchen was fitted to cater for a party this size with ease, and there is real fun in making and baking together.
Prefer a night off? The house is self-catering, but guests have arranged private chefs, group catering and even an in-house gin tasting.

Children of all ages
Children of all ages are welcome here, and the practical bits are already in place.
Soft Play in a Box
Soft play equipment delivered to the house for your stay, bookable as an extra.
Cots and high chairs
Two infants in cots can join beyond the bed count, and a cot and high chair are provided.
Family rooms in the eaves
Top-floor rooms pair king beds with singles, so young families sleep together.
